Meet penguin Cody Maverick, the star of new animated movie Surf’s Up, who travels from Antarctica, where he is considered a joke, to compete in the world surfing competition.

The teenager is determined to win the most important competition in the world of penguin surfing in honor of Big Z, a deceased surfing legend whom he has idolized since childhood.

But he finds the waves at the finals are different than in his hometown of Shiverpool and the competition is steep.

Surf’s Up is released on Friday August 10.
