Comedy double act Cannon and Ball and the grandmother of British comedy June Whitfield are among the highlights of Shrewsbury Music Hall’s autumn line-up.
Also headlining the autumn season are finalists from ITV’s The X Factor – Journey South and Dionne – on October 12.
The announcement comes as Music Hall managers announced that tickets were now on sale for performances being held at the venue this autumn.
A flavour of the West-End will be coming to Shrewsbury for one night only when The Vagina Monologues is staged at the venue on September 14.
June Whitfield CBE OBE, became a household name starring in the long-running BBC comedy Terry and June. She will appear in An Audience with . . . on September 26.
She will tell stories from her life and the audience will have the opportunity to put their own questions to the actress.
Music lovers are in for a treat with the return of Band Aid founder and Ultravox frontman Midge Ure on October 25 and two performances from The Glenn Miller Orchestra on September 15.
Shrewsbury will also have the pleasure of a night of entertainment from one of Britain’s greatest double acts Cannon and Ball on October 27.
