If you want to cause an argument, start talking politics or religion, writes our Teen Blogger Rhian.
Well, I’m not really interested in either and I don’t want an argument, but I am curious as to why the costs of university education in Scotland and perscriptions in Wales are so different to England.
I get caught up in all the excitment when England play football, but I have connections to all four corners of the United Kingdom and I don’t feel or see the point in getting all nationalistic and nasty.
What doesn’t seem fair to me though is that Scotland and Wales have their own parliaments, but England doesn’t and consequently, everybody in England seems disadvantaged because of it.
We even have a Scottish Prime Minister now, so what’s that all about?
Looking at it from my view, it seems that politics is all about lies and spin and “my gang is better than yours”.
Is it any wonder teenagers are turned of by it all?

“Is it any wonder teenagers are turned off by it all?” No. But even so, get out there and vote for someone, avoiding the extreme parties. They will always get their supporters out, and if ordinary decent people don’t vote at all, they can win. That’s how the Nazi party came to power in Germany. It really is important to cast your vote.

ITs so important for teenagers to ensure that they are up to speed wityh politics. Yes its frustrating when a corrput government are in power, but by becomign educated and ensuring that your vote is USED, you can have the power to change things. There is zero point in sitting around complaining about it – get out there, get involved and make a difference.
