Distance: Three miles.
Terrain: Easy walking on lanes, paths and tracks.
1. Start at Shawbirch local centre in north Telford. From the local centre walk out on to Glade Way, turn right past the Woolpack pub and cross over the main road at Dothill roundabout before entering Tee Lake Boulevard.
2. Turn left into McCormick Drive and almost immediately go straight ahead on a well-worn path which meanders around the back of houses before reaching a road.
Cross over and continue along the path which leads to the end of a cul-de-sac with schools on the left.
3. Turn right at the crossing of paths and follow the route around two sides of Tee Lake. The path turns right and then left behind more houses before passing through a wooded area on its way to the old railway line on the outskirts of Admaston.
4.
The path bears right just after this but do not continue to the main road, instead turn right through the gap in the fence and follow the path to the next road.
5. Turn left, right along the main road and left at the next junction down Bratton Lane, passing Bratton Farm and some cottages.
6. Continue ahead behind the houses and, where the lane bears left, turn right on a path into the Shawbirch estate.
7. Cross the road and continue past an open area to a junction of paths, turn left and on reaching the pool, bear right around it to reach Glade Way where a right turn along the pavement will return you to the start.
