1. Start your walk from a roadside verge at the eastern end of Marbury, on the Wrenbury road. Walk away from the village and turn right through a kissing gate, continue along the right-hand field boundary to another kissing gate into a farmyard.

3. Cross the railway carefully and go ahead over two more stiles and on to the road at a junction. Go ahead on the road opposite, passing through Hollyhurst, as far as another road junction.
4. Go on for 100 yards, then cross the stile on the left and walk over two more stiles to Oss Mere. Returning to the road, turn left and then almost immediately right over a stile into a large field.
5.
6. Turn right to cross a track in the field and, after crossing the stile, head half-left to another stile and then descend the bank.
7. At the bottom, turn rightand follow the track along Big Mere. After crossing several stiles you arrive in a large field next to the church.
8. Bear right to a gate and stile and turn left towards the village green. Turn right and walk back to the start.
