Distance: Three-and-a-half miles.
1. Start at Badger church. From there, walk down to junction and turn right up the road, passing Badger Farmhouse on the left.
2. Turn left up a track alongside a cottage and follow it as it descends through a wood to an open space.
3. Walk ahead across the grass then bear left down a track into a valley, continuing down to bottom left-hand corner before entering the wood.
4. Follow track past pool on right, and where it turns sharp left pass through gate ahead and follow faint track to next gate.
5. Continue ahead along ridge keeping to left of line of trees, to re-enter wood by way-marked gate.

7. The path uphill dog-legs left then right to a stile at left-hand edge of wood on summit. Cross the stile and walk half-right across the field to a stile onto a road.
8. Turn left for Ackleton, and opposite the first house on the right take wide track on the left. This will eventually lead into Badger Dingle, one of Shropshire’s hidden gems.
9. After crossing a dam, take path to the right of tunnel then follow paths left then right to emerge on to a road. Turn right and walk back to delightful setting of Badger Pool and its surrounding cottages.
