The three finalists for our Star Idea competition have been chosen after they underwent a grilling in front of our ‘Dragon’s Den’ style panel of judges.

Video journalist James Shaw joined Telford FM’s Paul Shuttleworth at the semi-finals, as the hopefuls beat off nine other contestants to snatch a coveted place in the final round.

They now go forward to present their ideas in front of an audience of 600 people at the Shropshire Business Awards.

The judges included Fay Easton from the Shropshire Enterprise Partnership, Ian Morris from accountancy firm Turner Peachey, Di Thompson from the E-Innovation Centre and Peter Pawsey from the Rural Regeneration Zone.

To book your place at the awards and vote for the winning idea, telephone Lucy Sadler on 01952 208200.
