Birmingham League division three leaders St Georges have been docked a point due to a slow over rate.
The Dragons have been punished for failing to fulfil the 17 overs per hour requirement in two of their three opening league matches against Shropshire rivals Wem and Whitchurch.
Skipper Matt Tilt said: “We have spoken about it as a team and we need to make a concerted effort to make sure it doesn’t happen again because the punishments rise if we do it again.”
Teams get three-and-a-quarter hours to bowl 55 overs, with additional time given for wickets and any “extenuating circumstances” deemed by the umpires.
