Two award-winning Shropshire companies are hoping their partnership will lead to continued success - starting with this week’s Chelsea Flower Show.
David Austin Roses of Albrighton, and Precision Colour Printing Limited of Halesfield in Telford, have worked together for the past seven years.
And now they have launched the biggest ever catalogue to promote David Austin’s world famous roses to coincide with this year’s Chelsea Flower Show.
Christian Bright, from PCP, said: “This is the 25th time David Austin Roses have entered the Chelsea Flower Show and we’re very pleased to have been asked to print their latest catalogue.
“As the current Consumer Magazine Printer of the Year, and having been shortlisted for the Catalogue Printer award twice, we believe the quality of our print helps us to show off the quality of their roses to their very best effect.”
Altogether 385,000 copies of the 124-page catalogue have been printed, in four different languages - English, French, German and Italian.
“It’s also the first time the catalogue has been bound, thanks to our latest investment in new equipment, which now cements us as one of the top 10 web offset printers in the UK,” said Christian.
Kate Jeremy, of the licensing team at David Austin Roses, said the company had previously won 14 gold medals for their displays at Chelsea, and had won recognition on a worldwide stage too including Courson in France, and in Moscow.
“We’re extremely pleased with the latest catalogue and we’re looking forward to continuing our excellent relationship with PCP - their support and professionalism has made working with them a real pleasure.”
Customers will get their first chance to see the new catalogue and the latest rose varieties launched at Chelsea at an open weekend at David Austin Roses from Saturday to Monday in Albrighton.
