Abbey-cwm-hir Hall was a chance discovery for the Humpherstons, who formerly lived in an old Oxfordshire rectory, and during their dedicated nine-year restoration project they have uncovered a gem of Victorian design, including 24 fireplaces (14 of which are marble), scores of Gothic windows, original bell pulls, attics, cellars and walled gardens.
