Aiming to satisfy a need in the overseas property market, Shrewsbury-based chartered surveyors and overseas property agents, Simply Overseas, are about to launch a new venture for those seriously considering buying a property in the sun.
Rather than becoming one of a seemingly endless stream of travelling property exhibitions, the firm will be opening the doors of its permanent town-centre offices for ‘focused’ information evenings concentrating on just one of the areas they cover, on each occasion.
The firm’s managing director, Christopher Morris, has been presenting seminars for several years and has, he says, built a reputation for honest advice and plain speaking.
He commented: “The market is constantly changing and we are aware of a demand from many in the market, who already know where they want to buy their overseas property, for a more focused information evening concentrating on that favoured location.
“So, although we are continuing with our well established general seminars, where we give an overview of the whole market, we are now launching something extra.”
Christopher continued: “We are inviting those interested to get a ticket for one of our office-based information evenings where they can benefit from masses of useful tips and information, including the buying procedure and legal system and, of course, see lots of properties. Our promise is that, as always, there is no pressure or obligation because that is not how we work.”
The first information evening will cover Cyprus and takes place in the Claremont Hill Offices of Simply Overseas on Thursday, May 17, at 7pm.
