Tributes have been paid to a motorcyclist from Shropshire killed in an accident in Mid Wales. Graham Mark died when his Kawasaki machine was in collision with a Mitsubishi Pajero 4×4.
Mr Mark, 34, from Telford, was riding on the A458 Llanfair Caereinion to Welshpool road on Easter Sunday at about 3.45pm when the crash happened.
In a statement released through Dyfed-Powys Police, Mr Mark’s family said: “Graham was a much-loved and well-respected partner of Mandy and her son Michael, son of Gill and Dave and brother of Angela.
“He lived life to the full, worked hard and loved his dogs. You couldn’t meet a better lad.
“He has left a huge gap no-one will ever fill. He was loved by all his friends and family. He lived for his bike and was loved by young and old.”
Dyfed-Powys Police have appealed for any witnesses to the crash. They said both Mr Mark and the Mitsubishi were travelling in the direction of Welshpool.
Officers were anxious to trace the driver of a dark car, possibly a Ford Ka, travelling in the same direction and just in front of a queue of traffic when the accident took place.
Mr Mark was the first of two Shropshire motorcyclists to die on the A458 in Mid Wales within hours of each other on Sunday.
Michael Powell, from Newport, died in a collision with an Isuzu Trooper at the A458 at Cefn Bridge, east of Welshpool.
Anyone with information on either collision is urged to call police on 08453 302000.
