“The response to our advertisements has been fairly good but we have been surprised by the small number of applicants for this exceptional position,” says Jane Hughes, recruitment consultant at Working Solutions.
“We have recently placed mechanical engineering and other technical graduates in trainee roles locally. We have placed a maths graduate with a local firm of accountants which has committed to support and pay for all study materials and exams for ACCA qualification as well as offering day release to the successful applicant, who graduated from Leeds University,” adds Julia Hughes of Working Solutions.
“So if city life doesn’t appeal, remember you may have to look a little harder but there definitely are some excellent opportunities in the region.”
