This is one of the international sculptures which form the centre piece of a major exhibition at a Shropshire beauty spot.
The sculptures from Spain are part of the Extramuros exhibition around the mere in Ellesmere, which opens on Wednesday.
Extramuros consists of 12 pieces which are up to 12 feet high created in England, Spain and Portugal.
It will help launch the 2007 tourism season in Ellesmere, and will then travel to Andalucia in southern Spain, Portugal and Asturias in northern Spain. The sculptures will be on display in the town until June.
Alan Bradbury, a volunteer helping to stage the exhibition, said: “We have been planning this for weeks.”
A mobile crane will be helping to unload and place more of the sculptures from Portugal tomorrow.
Three of the pieces created locally are expected to return to Ellesmere for permanent display in 2008.
