Who are these people who think it’s fun to destroy the timetables at bus stops?
Where I live in Telford, it’s a regular occurence to see the perspex timetable cover smashed open and the timetable missing writes our Teen Blogger, Rhian.
It doesn’t inconvenience me because I know when the buses run (although whether they have any space left for any more passengers is another matter.)
Further along in the town centre, there’s a bus stop with space for an advert on the side and that’s regularly vandalised too, with the cover being forced open and the poster inside pulled out and ripped up.
It’s a bit pathetic, the people who do this must lead sad and boring lives if the only entertainment they get is from stealing bus timetables.
All Arriva do is repair them which is fair enough, but their just wasting money because in a few days it’ll be destroyed again.
They should look at making the bus stops more vandal proof by designing out the weaknesses of timetable and advert holders. I’m sixteen and I can see the answer. Why can’t they?
