One, two, three for Allan

Telford author and historian Allan Frost launches “Wellington Shreds (and Patches)”, a collection of stories about Wellington’s past, at Wellington Library on Tuesday from 6pm to 7.30pm. It is the second of three books he is launching during Wellington Literary Festival - the first, “Wellington Methodist Youth Club”, was unveiled last Saturday at Wellington Methodist Church’s regular Saturday coffee morning.

Mr Frost said that the launch had been “absolutely mobbed”.

“There must have been something like 120 to 130 people there altogether. It was a really nice gathering - the sort of thing you pray for when you launch a book.”

And to complete his hat-trick, Mr Frost will unveil his novel, “Wrekin Wraiths, Rebels and Romans”, at Wellington Library next Saturday from 10am to noon. It is a time-travel fantasty with The Wrekin as the backdrop to the action.
