'I'm on a mission to clean up Shropshire one sign at a time - it's crazy but I like it'
A Shrewsbury cyclist has taken it upon himself to clean up Shropshire – one road sign at a time.
John Edwards, a retired aerospace worker, began cleaning up road signs in the county last month – and the 70-year-old ex-racing cyclist says he just can't stop.
He said he got the idea after seeing an online video of somebody cleaning signs during the coronavirus pandemic.
